I was never a fashionista, and can’t pretend to be a brand dictionary, even today. But being part-time artist, I warm up to all things well-designed, originally conceived, beautifully assembled, structured, coloured. Working within the lifestyle stream forced me to relook and rethink the power of fashion. I have had colleagues who’s lifelong mission was to marry a man who would buy them the latest Chanel or LV bag; they would spend afternoons at the office surfing the latest luxury sites and looking down on those less knowledgeable about the brand dance.
