THERE IS NO FORCE EQUAL TO A WOMAN DETERMINED TO RISE!
In 2020, I was nominated for and won the “Häfele Woman of the Year – ORBIS Award” for the category of “Häfele Woman of Influence” year 2020.
Häfele Woman’s Day Celebration is a nine-year old initiative taken by Häfele which celebrates womankind for her power to create, nurture and transform!
The theme of 2020 was #EQUALREADY.
“An equal world is an enabled world. Individually, we’re all responsible for our own thoughts and actions – all day, every day. We can actively choose to challenge stereotypes, fight bias, broaden perceptions, improve situations and celebrate women’s achievements. Collectively, each one of us can help create a gender equal world,” said the letter of congratulations.
This award was bestowed on me in 2019 by WORLDWIDE MEDIA, A SUBSIDIARY OF THE TIMES GROUP, 12 YEARS AFTER I HAD SERVED AS EXECUTIVE EDITOR AT HELLO! MAGAZINE.
